This hat is made in France from a blend of upcycled recycled wool. It is knitted in ribbing and decreases, resulting in a seamless construction with attractive exterior finishing details.
Beautiful work on the shape of the sailor caps, with a compact volume and a generous feel.
We've added an industrial wash to start the softening process. It's machine washable at home, and the more you wash it, the softer it will become.
The spinning mill from which we buy our wool is located in southwest France. The wool comes from sweaters that are collected and sorted by color. Once gathered, they are shredded, cleaned, and then spun together to create new skeins in heathered colors.
These are the yarns we use for our recycled wool hats and socks.
