Vetiver is undoubtedly one of our favorite raw materials. It's recognizable by its nutty and smoky notes, obtained after the distillation of its roots. Each terroir imparts its own unique facets. In the 601, we use Haitian vetiver, which has fresh facets and lends a woody signature to the base.

Cedar:

It's a very dry, woody fragrance, very similar to that of a pencil. This blended note mingles with other woody notes like vetiver and violet leaf. Without a doubt, this creation is a fresh, woody scent.

Bergamot:

Bergamot is fresh, sometimes green, sometimes floral and fruity. Used as a top note, it creates a sparkling and refreshing opening in 601. It lends an elegant touch to the fragrance's initial notes. Primarily sourced from Calabria in Italy, it reveals different notes depending on the specific vineyard plots, fresher in the south and more floral in the north. It's a bit like wine, where terroir plays a crucial role!
