Al Ain® Academy was born in 2022 from two brothers' shared love of art and travel. They couldn't have been more different, yet this interplay of opposites and talents materialized in their first joint project. During a trip to Morocco, the two fell passionately in love with Marrakech. The city profoundly influenced their creativity, inspiring them particularly in their exploration and study of color.
With their grandfather, who still makes haute couture clothes, they decided to create the first piece from a traditional Moroccan cushion bought during a trip.
They chose to cut this handcrafted fabric and sew it onto the back of a sweatshirt, thus creating the first Al Ain® piece. The name Al Ain Academy, in addition to being one of the brothers' surnames, also pays homage to the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, which, along with their hometown, shaped their artistic training.
