• Juniper berry:

  • Juniper berries smell like gin and tonic! No wonder, since this spirit is flavored with these berries. Here, they lend a woody, fresh, resinous glow and a floral touch to the creation. The perfumer used an overdose of juniper berries to give this fresh citrus cocktail a "gin" facet.

• Mandarin:

  • We all know that juicy, sweet, and tangy scent when you peel a mandarin! It brings a lot of freshness and a sparkling quality. In 004, it allows for a reinterpretation of the structure of the classic cologne. Here, bergamot is replaced by mandarin zest. A modern twist!

• Musk:

  • In 004, the perfumer uses white musks, which bring roundness and staying power to the composition, creating a comforting touch. These should not be confused with "Tonkin musks," which smell of fur but are no longer used. These newer types of musks, called "white musks," offer scents of clean linen and cotton. They have nothing to do with the animalic facet of their Tonkin cousin.
