HUNTER

Founded in Scotland in 1856 by Henry Lee Norris, the North British Rubber Co., which later became Hunter Boot Ltd., manufactured rubber boots and other durable rubber products. Boots quickly became the most popular and profitable category. The North British Rubber Co. began expanding its offerings to create boots for everyone from dairy farmers to country folk. Hunter became renowned for its practicality and talent for creative, forward-thinking designs—a legacy that continues today.
