Archivist was founded in 1998, and as the name suggests, the archives of the Natural History Museum are where they began. Although the archives have changed, the enthusiasm for hunting for images has not waned. By collaborating with artists from around the world, they have created the finest range of British typographic cards, prints, and, let's not forget, luxury matchsticks.

Ink and paper have always been essential parts of the business and now that they are the proud owners of Britain's largest letterpress printing plant, they have the means to raise their quality and innovation to even higher levels.
